Fater Antony Chinnabathini, born in 1971 in Govindapuram, Diocese of Nalgonda, India, is a dedicated priest now serving in the Diocese of Boise, Idaho.
The seventh of nine siblings—six brothers and two sisters—he was deeply influenced by his late parents in his discernment of the priesthood.
Father Antony completed his primary education at St. Don Bosco School in his hometown and attended St. Xavier's High School in Suryapet, India.
He pursued philosophical studies at St. John's Seminary in Kondadaba, India, and theological studies at Vianney College in Janampet, Eluru.
On April 29, 1996, he was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Nalgonda.
Fr. Antony began his ministry as an assistant priest and later served as a parish priest in a neighboring diocese.
Returning to Nalgonda in 2000, he served as rector of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Fathimapur from 2000 to 2006, followed by a role as rector of
St. Francis Boarding School from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to 2018, he held the position of procurator for the Diocese of Nalgonda.
In 2018, Fr. Antony joined the Diocese of Boise. He served as parochial vicar at St. George Catholic Church in Post Falls from 2019 to 2021 before
being appointed administrator of St. Ann's in Bonners Ferry, where he continues to minister.
